Fold out with the tailgate open to gain up to 2-feet of enclosed cargo area. fold it inside and close the tailgate to keep tools and smaller cargo contained in the truck bed. Great for extra area to transport your dirt bike or anything extra length.
It is advisable to purchase a pushbike style rear plate from the RMS to attach to the extender as the tailgate lowered will block vision to the number plate.
